philosophy

In addition to managing concerts and music festivals I have extensive theatre experience.   I have worked for the Ithaca College Theatre Department, as the Lighting and Sound Supervisor.   Teaching Tech I: sound & lighting, Tech II: Automated Lighting, Theatre Practicum, Theatre Production II, III, and IV, Technical Theatre Seminar.  It was here that I learned everyone has something to teach and to learn.  This experience has made me an even stronger manager as it taught me to be ever articulate and patient.

EXPERIENCE

I worked as Production Manager for the State Theatre in Ithaca, New York for over six years.  This position giving me the opportunity to work with a number of different professional tour groups including but not limited to:  Lyle Lovett, Ray Davies, John Hyatt, They Might Be Giants, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Franti, Fiona Apple, Avett Brothers, and Arlo Guthrie.  I have also managed theatrical performances such as Ron White, Steven Colbert, Second City, the Reduced Shakespeare Company, Ailey II, and Taylor 2. 
            In addition to managing concerts and music festivals I have extensive theatre experience.  I stage manage music festivals, building scenic elements for Nike Fashion Week, and managing large events for both Cornell University and Ithaca College.  I also have extensive experience with lighting, scenery, and sound design.  I am an experienced lighting designer with this skill most recently being intertwined into my responsibilities with local theatre and dance companies.
